The picture at the top is of a building at a Piazza in Venice, I thought the symmetry in the architecture was awesome. My favorite part of the picture is the contrast of light and dark in the sky and under the curves of the arch ways.
The second picture is of the back of the Dome, in Florence, Italy. I really love how clear the sky is because I think it looks interesting in comparison to the texture of the scaffolding. (The dome is under construction..but you can only tell from the back)
I was here too! ...20 years ago, but I still have all my photos from Venice and I treasure them. Thanks for sharing & getting a good start on your blog - you still need to post your "Abstraction" work...you had really nice shots from our field trip - you can start printing them in class ASAP...
